The exact causes of this disease is yet to be determined, though an autoimmune disorder, exposure to toxins or toxic material and exposure radiation have been known to cause this disease.

Symptoms of Aplastic Anemia include weakness and paleness along with other more significant symptoms, such as increased bruising, hemorrhaging and infections. The treatment is complex and a patient has to undergo significantly long period of medication and in severe cases, bone marrow transplant. Without proper treatment, the disorder can be deadly.

Myelodysplastic Syndrome is yet another group of critical blood disorder. Also known as preleukemia, this disorder targets the bone marrow and spinal cord. This disorder usually affects older people between the age group of 60 and 75.

The symptoms of Myelodysplastic Syndrome include severe anemia resulting in weakness, tiredness and other signs, such as an increased susceptibility to infections and hemorrhaging. Treatment includes therapy and involves frequent blood transfusions, and even bone marrow transplant. However, researchers and medical scientists are continuously searching for a better and more advanced treatment for this group of disorders.

On the whole, blood is the lifeline of all human bodies. It circulates via heart, arteries, veins, and other vital body organs. As it performs vital most functions in our body, its maintenance cannot be neglected. Moreover, if a blood disorder is detected in a person, its treatment should go regular and with appropriate medical procedure. So keep in mind to consult a physician for regular blood checkup and better be watchful for any blood disorder. Remember, treatment is much simpler if the disorder is detected at an early stage.
