Fans Are Freaking Out Over Zack Snyder’s Justice League

By | March 19, 2021

The long wait for Zack Snyder’s Justice League is finally over. Now streaming on HBO Max, the highly-anticipated film is already a hit…according to fans on social media, that is.

Back in 2017 and during production of the original film, Snyder stepped down because of a family tragedy and Avengers director Joss Whedon took his place. This creative shift resulted in the majority of Justice League being rewrote and reshot. After its release, the film was far from well-received by critics or fans. This led to years of campaigning from fans to see Snyder’s version of the movie come to fruition.

After what seems like a lifetime, Snyder decided to come back and finish what he started with this fan-fueled release. The new extended cut of Justice League is a re-edited version including original footage, new material, and upgraded CGI, truly reshaping the plot and characters. While there are definitely some improvements from its 2017 version, including a jaw-dropping final scene, what really blew DC fans away was the quick appearance of Jared Leto as The Joker and the CGI glow up of the film’s villain, Steppenwolf.

So, after you’re done streaming the lengthy movie—four hours and two minutes, to be exact—take a look at some of the best fan reactions to #TheSnyderCut of Justice League.
