In 2005, I took a drug called Accutane (also known as Roaccutane) for a moderate case of Acne.
Even years later, it was apparent that something was very wrong with me – and it all came back to when I started taking the drug. That was without question. Why then was this drug still available for purchase and prescription?
The drug has been available since 1982 and is now on the market under a gambit of different names, following the withdrawal of Roche’s original product.
Ultimately, the same dangerous pills still exist as the ones I swallowed in 2005/2006, and this is my story as to why I believe you should look elsewhere before you gamble your health to solve – in many cases – a temporary problem.
The truth can only be kept hidden for so long …
***Since publishing this book, I appeared in a BBC Three documentary entitled ‘Dying For Clear Skin’, which aired in 2012.
